The F430 was first titled in California in June 2007 with only 53 miles. Ferrari & Maserati of Newport Beach performed its pre-delivery inspection and installed a skid plate. The car subsequently moved to Virginia, where its documented history includes multiple emissions and safety inspections along with servicing through Ferrari & Maserati of Washington. A documented maintenance inspection was completed at 10,529 miles. The Ferrari later spent time in Guam before being exported back to the continental United States through Oakland, California in January 2016. Additional servicing was recorded at San Rafael European before the vehicle was offered for sale later that year. By September 2016, the F430 had been titled in Texas. Ferrari of Houston serviced the vehicle at 18,529 miles, and it passed a Texas emissions inspection at 18,742 miles in August 2017. On September 1, 2017, CARFAX reports that the F430 was declared a total-loss vehicle due to water damage. Texas subsequently issued both a salvage title/certificate and flood-damage title.
